44 And in spite of[a] this, when they are[b] in the land of their enemies I will not reject them, and I will not abhor them to destroy them, to break my covenant with them, because I am Yahweh their God. 45 And I will remember the first covenant for them[c]—whom I brought out from the land of Egypt in the sight of[d] the nations to be their God.[e] I am Yahweh.’”

46 These are the rules and the regulations and the laws that Yahweh gave between himself and the Israelites[f] on Mount Sinai[g] through[h] Moses.
